The Leeds-born graffiti legend returns to his hometown this September for an "INSA TAKE OVER AND GIF-ITI TREASURE HUNT" at Trinity Shopping Centre.

From September 15th, visitors to Trinity are being invited to take part in the first GIF-iti exhibition and Treasure Hunt via augmented murals across the shopping centre, created by the famed artist INSA.
Join the artist for the reveal of this incredible installation on Friday, 17th September, 6-9pm at the Trinity Shopping Centre.
Along with the 9 mural artwork, at the centrepiece of the exhibition in Trinity will be a classic Cartier Edition 1968 Lincoln Continental MK3 that has been brought back to INSA-life.
The artist worked side-by-side with a Brighouse (near Leeds, UK) garage named 'Motoburo' to design and install the artwork for the classic car, which is due to go on display in the Trinity Shopping Mall in the centre of Leeds in September, along with a number of augmented vinyl installations by the globally known artist brought to you in collaboration with Moniker Art Fair and Leeds BID.
Managing Director of Motoburo, Matt Heap, said:
"It's not every day us car fanatics get to work with a world-famous artist, but it's been a privilege to do so and the end result is something we'll be proud of forever."
Incredibly, the team estimate there were 17 layers of flake/candy/pearl white/diamond black and lacquer that went into the fully restored bodywork, plus thousands of man hours.
INSA, originally from Leeds, is a graduate of Goldsmith’s, but began his career as a graffiti writer, painting streets and buildings as he travelled. Soon becoming known for his now trademark ‘graffiti fetish’ pattern his art has drawn global attention and critical acclaim.
His work has been shown in the V&A and Tate and he's worked in partnership with multiple brands from Nike to Netflix but this is the first time he's ever turned his talented hands to designing a sculptural car piece.
