In May of 2026 The Moniker Foundation presented its inaugural International Artist Residency Program held in Tulum, Mexico, in partnership with Tulum Art Club and in support of LADLE, a
Non-profit dedicated to empowering Native Mayan and Mexican children.
This residency offered a unique opportunity for 4 artists to immerse themselves in the rich cultural landscape of the Yucatán Peninsula while developing their artistic practice and producing four murals in the local community.
Where inspiration meets cultural authenticity,
a creative residency into the Yucatán.
We are proud to be supporting Los Amigos de la Esquina, who's mission is to empower and improve the quality of life of children in Tulum. During the residency, artists will have the opportunity to work directly with LADLE and create a large scale public mural in the centre of Tulum.
